There are easy to use web sites that give you the delivery date, futures price., basis, net etc. Here is an easy site that I use for elevators in NW Iowa. You still need to call the elevator for the most up-to-date quote but this will get you close. Figure what you need to break even, hope that you can cover it then the rest is gravy...some years a little thin. Select a location then hit 'go'. Elevators that grind grain for feed will carry a little less basis so about $.05/buschel more profit.
