| The 4300 mile bike ride sounded bearish the market.
The crop condition question made me wonder why corn shouldn't have a 2 in front of it.
The 5 county flight over Illinois sounded the opposite of the crop condition comments.
Seeing the overnight regain some of their first loss, I wondered weather? Demand? Yield? World weather?
Asking the elevator mgr and farmers this morning what their comments of central IA (between Ames & Des Moines) and they thought the yellow spots had grown in the last week. Having walked some fields Sat eve, I had the same opinion from more yellow leaves. (even where 40# side dressed)
Night trade opened lower and came back part.
Day trade went down more, closed off its lows and for the high in the last 5 min.
Much rain on the wknd and appears more for the week makes me wonder what the rest of the story will be unraveling. 180 degree change of weather from Fri thought may be limit down, ....yet?
More out there in demand that what meets the eye? Trying to grab on to straws for the last few sales. | |
