That said, and depending on how the fronts move things, when the current heat in the midwest starts east there's likely a hotter spell right behind/on top of the current deal.
Get a fresh hot wave on top of a thermal mass that's already warmed up, and folks up there perhaps have not even come close to Real hot yet.
Could be another 2 to 4 weeks of "plenty warm" in the Midwest if the weather continues to play just "wrong."
