East Central Indiana | What we have done on all of our machine sheds is poured an approach the entire width of the doorways. This extends approximately 4 foot from the back edge of the door. On the back side of the doors we pour another 1 foot wide section of concrete that is about an inch or 2 above the sliding lock that the bottom of the doors slide into. This setup not only allows protection for the lock but also helps keep coons and other such animals from entering the machine shed. | |
