I went to wooden blocks a couple of years ago----well worth the trouble of changing. my cranks had about 500 hrs on them and the alloy bearings were gettign quiet abit of slop in them so i decided to change them (put 40 shots a day of grease in them) the wooden ones are still as tight as the day i put them in and no greasing every morning.
