I took a pump out of a 5 gal bucket, turned a sleve out of white UHMW plastic to fit the barrel of pump inside, turned the outside to fit in the cap hole of 2 1/2 gal jug and left a small flange on top to fit inside of cap. Turn cap out to fit od of barrel of pump and presto a 2 1/2 gal pump. poke a small hole in handle to let in air . works pretty good .
