Went trail riding last summer with an old friend. He and his wife both have 400 outlanders not once did we find them short on power compared to my 500 ho sportsman. One evening, back at his farm site we did some comparison tests with a small load on his hay rack and again no big difference. I chose polaris because of my local dealer and have had very good luck with our polaris 330. He's had good luck with his canams, even pulls a hay rake with it and has been trouble free.

If I could get the deals on a can am that he has found, I would own one too. Engine size/power isn't a deciding factor the way we both use our stock machines.

Ultimately, that will be the factor. I can get a new 500HO for $2,500 less than a Can am Outty 400. May go Popo.
