Viewing a thread - soil temps

Here is an update of the corn that was planted on May 5th into spring wheat stubble. The first photo is of the corn planted into a bare spot, it is 36 inches tall has ? leaf collars, and has acumulated 795 gdd`s. The second photo shows the corn planted into a 10 inch wide strip cleared of residue it has reached a height of 30 inches, has ? leaf collars and has acumulated 748 gdd`s. I have switched to using the air temperature to figuring gdd`s starting on 6/24 on this test. The reason for the ? in the leaf collars is because of some confusion on my part.
