North Central Illinois | I had to take an early morning road trip yesterday and was listening to the Saturday morning farm show on WGN radio. They interviewed their staff meteorologist about upcoming weather. He claims that from the 4th of July on there will be little to no rain for six to eight weeks and pretty hot over the majority of the cornbelt. I know guys want it to stop raining but I don't think we want it to stop all together. A lot of this crop is surely shallow rooted and two months without rain wouldn't be pretty. This is the first I have heard anyone predicting this doomsday scenario. Anyone else heard this? | |
