I have a pair of curvtines on one row now. Hope to get the other 22 next yr. ( been saying that for a while).
I agree on the disk. I did it last yr, and regretted it all yr. But I also think the non narrow rows hurt me too. those late strips planted beautifully last yr.
It's settled. First, get the rest of the burn down done, then start stripping and planting as fast I as can.
It is so dang SOUR under the soil surface. I had one variety with cruiser this yr on my first field. Didn't come up any better than the non treated, after the heavy rain.
