Here is a picture of the stubble and the data logger. The white tube to the left is where the sensor is located for the 6 inch above ground reading.

Yesterday i set up a sensor on a field that was soybeans last year. There is not much cover on that field.  Maybe in a couple days i will report on the differences between the heavy and light ground cover as to the temperature at the 6 inch height.

The second picture will show the soybean stubble.
