Pierce County North Dakota
You need a hydraulic capacity of at least 20 gpm, in my experience. My case drain just dumps back into the hydraulic tank, just make sure that it is very close to zero pressure or you will blow the fan seals out. I have a 9350 CIH on a 1850 and I set my fan to hydraulic 4 and opener lift and lower to hydraulic 1, sometimes the 1st hydraulic takes priority and also keep in mind that some hysraulic systems are open center and some are closed center. With my 9350 I use a manual bypass to set the opener down pressure, because I don't have a huge amound of excess hydraulic capacity (28 GPM), the active down pressure with the deere opener takes quite a bit of flow. That being said my Dad also has a MX 270 and I know it would pull my airseeder so I'd recommend that.
