We bought one around the early 80's. We thought it was good until we traded it for a JD4250.
The perkins motor started to slobber around 4000-5000 hours, but head gasket and rings were all they needed to get you to +/- 7000 hours. The transmission was fairly solid apart from oil leaks. Make sure its FWA as the 2WD would not pull the ring off a can of coke.
