Thats how we apply N in the muck. Either pre plant or post. We're on wide rows yet so the spreader would strattle the rows just right. The only thing we had to watch out for would be if the corn got to tall, the spreader jack would knock the corn over. The little bit of urea that would go in the whirl never bothered any. Seems like muck can sure present its own challanges.
