Subject: Re: Spec'ing out a Gas Pickup truck ?

South Plains of Texas
I have a 09 GMC 1/2 ton with the 6.2 with 403 hp., 6 speed transmission and 4.10 gears. I got the trailermax setup and that thing pulls good and daily driving around the farm and to town and stuff is 15.5 mpg. I will be the first to admit it won't pull like a Duramax that my brother has, but it also won't knock your fillings out going down dirt roads. You also don't smell like diesel if you have to fill up, and he only beats me by 1 mpg on every day driving. It does sound like a good old v-8 when you get on it. I believe I like this pickup better than any I've had in a while.
