Subject: Preemerge grass and broadleaf herbicide applied postemerge in soybeans

East Central Arkansas
We are raising furrow irrigated soybeans on 38 in rows and we are plowing the middles out to establish a good irrigation furrow. We put prowl out preplant incorporaed and Valor on a band while planting. I would like to spray something in the middles after plowing to help keep the middles clean. I know Dual can be used but what else do some of you use. I have though about using Sencor but I don't think I can get the coverage in the row middle I want without getting some on the beans. Unlike a cotton plant that I am use to dealing with beans have a lot of folage close to the ground. I really don't remember beans in the past being so bushy close to the ground. After finishing up plowing through our cotton putting out the Dual I made a pass through the beans with everything the same except for the crop and I was spraying a good bit on the sides of the bean plants low to the ground .
