East Central Arkansas | We are raising furrow irrigated soybeans on 38 in rows and we are plowing the middles out to establish a good irrigation furrow. We put prowl out preplant incorporaed and Valor on a band while planting. I would like to spray something in the middles after plowing to help keep the middles clean. I know Dual can be used but what else do some of you use. I have though about using Sencor but I don't think I can get the coverage in the row middle I want without getting some on the beans. Unlike a cotton plant that I am use to dealing with beans have a lot of folage close to the ground. I really don't remember beans in the past being so bushy close to the ground. After finishing up plowing through our cotton putting out the Dual I made a pass through the beans with everything the same except for the crop and I was spraying a good bit on the sides of the bean plants low to the ground . | |
