Subject: Small Tube rotor question about corn?

Belzoni, Mississippi
Corn is tasseling and putting ears on and it has me thinking about my combine. I had a small tube rotor put in my 2188. I did great harvesting soybeans. I am wondering what people think about them harvesting corn. I have heard that if you slow all the transport vanes down it will hold it in the rotor cage longer to thrash good. Has anybody ever cut corn with one and how has it did?
