RTK is the only way to go with strip till.

We have done some fall strips on mild slopes without an erosion problem, but we try not to do anything very steep at all. Lately we have done mostly spring strips with the Pluribus coulter type units a day or so ahead of the planter, and like that better than fall strips on our clay soils, but i wouldn't want to do spring strips with a knife unit.
