West Tennessee | I have a new to me 4710 sprayer that is leaking pretty good around at least one and maybe 2 injectors. I've been told I can't just remove and replace an injector or a washer or whatever is leaking (something about having to reset the timing??). Is that true? Is there something that is a common problem on this motor. I can honestly say that I've never had an injector leak on any other engine I've ever owned so this is new stuff for me. BTW we have checked the fittings around the injectors to make sure they are tight. I thought maybe this thing had those rubber boots on the lines (we have changed those before) but it does not as I'm sure most of you already know. Any advice would be appreciated. | |
