Mt. Airy, NC | Land rolls pretty good around here so wider booms can be a problem. Broke the foamer off the first 30 minutes of spraying last week, had the boom 30" of the ground ran into a small ditch on the uphill side and smacked the ground with the boom. Also 60' behind a 6000 can get a little tricky when crossing a waterway and heading back into the fields. People around here have set them up on there ends. Also we farm a lot of 3-9 acre fields where 60'+ booms would be hard to get around. | |
