Why don't you like concrete ditch? We don't have any around here and I don't think we can due to the ground types and freezing. But I always thought on some laser levelled ground it looked like the way to go. Pipe is way too expensive when you start getting big enough to carry a good head of water. Say around 14 feet, need 24-36" pipe.

We just fill and pull ditches every year, but on some of my ground it is real sandy and wants to wash to much.
