Subject: RE: Hyd drive grain cart

Rivers, MB
we put a hyd. drive on our Brent 774 2 years ago. Ordered the kit direct from Brent. Took a few hours to get all assembled and figured out. Not that difficult. Depending on the tractor, will be rougly 1/3-1/2 the speed of a PTO drive from what I understand. Depending on your yield and # of combines/cart, you will soon find out whether the reduced capacity is the weakest link in your harvest capacity. For us, it's nice because we can run it on either of our 4WD's without PTO. We run ours off of 2 remotes from our tractor for the auger drive, 1 remote for the auger fold and 1 remote for the slide gate inside the cart.
