Viewing a thread - soil temps

This field was planted on May 5th. The corn in the first picture was in a 10 inch wide strip of cleared residue and has a height of 2.5 inches, it has acumulated 131 gdd`s. In the secound picture the corn was planted into bare patch of soil, has reached a height of 3.5 inches and acumulated 158 gdd`s. A interesting note is that the same hybrid was planted on may 8 and 9th under the same stubble conditions has also reached 2.5 inches in height.
