If you're going to use Banvel, get 'er done soon. In my earlier years I sprayed Banvel on part of a field that was right at 8" tall. You could tell right to the row where I quit, the unsprayed corn was standing. The Banvel sprayed corn looked like it had the worst case of rootworm, all goosenecked and lodged. Took a yield hit on it.
