Ogema, MN | I have a new 1990 ccs with 15" spacing. When changing varieties with a different seed size the rate doesn't seem to correlate to the previous calibration. With 2895seeds/# used a setting of 36.5 and planted 69lbs/acre then put in 2600seeds/lb. and a setting of 34.5 and were seeding 70lbs/acre. We thought that with bigger seed we should need a higher setting so we started at 39 but the rate went way up to 100 so we slowly had to go back down to 34.5. | |
