Maybe there different today, but I have a 1,500 watt sine converter on my boat, and it is not a small piece of equipment. Unless they have changed a lot in the last 5 or 6 years, a 2,500 watt like mine would take up a lot of room, like there would be no way it would fit under the hood or a seat. But, maybe they're smaller today.
