I ran a 8 row Drago chopping action head last year.
First thing I will say is that the drives are not heavy enough. The out side end bearings should be twice the size they are and the same for the shafts.
It probably does the poorest chopping job of all the chopping heads. It has 2 blades up at the top of the stalk rolls.
4 mph is pushing it for any chopping action with a Drago. It's like driving a lawn mower too fast...it just won't cut.
My head fed good and I had very little shelling and ears flying. But to have bearings go out and have down time with a new corn head was bothering.
