Kittitas Co. Wa. State

LOL... actually as long as I went by the "offical DOE weather station report"  I was safe.  I followed "their rules" on burning.  All the days that would have been really "safe" and logical I was told I could not burn.

The day I was told it was ok and "authorized" to burn,, Wind was 40 plus mph out of the west.

I can say the field burned rather well.....   pretty stupid to me, but that 45 ac. burned off completely in less than 20 minutes.

(THe ignorant DOE had forbiden me to burn on at least 6 good burning days with low wind because the "official weather station" 150 miles a way said it was NOT a "burn day"  After paying $500+ for a permit and waiting 3+ weeks to burn,, I burned when they said I was "authorized" and "legal" to burn. Was worse than moronic reasoning to me..)

Local airport 10 miles away is meaningless,,,  They are NOT a "DOE OFFICIAL" weather station.

Completely logical Government beauracy thinking...   Long as you have no active nurons...
