I just done one of those pips on an 8430 about 2 months ago. The whole assembly was replaced, solenoid valve installed next to the injection pump, new belt, hoses ran back to the transmission cover. Solved all his cooling problems and so far no leaks. Maybe oil coming from another source? The oil going to the new fan drive assembly is now hydraulic instead of engine oil.
