Subject: Re: John Deere 468 round baler

Northern NE Panhandle
I've run a 535 that i still have (89 model), a 566 and a 568. I don't know what you mean "feeder fork system" on the 566? I bought the 535 new (still have it as a backup), and the 566 used (traded for the new 568). The 535 and 566 are COMPLETELY identical except for the monitor. The 568 is the best baler on the market right now bar none, conventional straw, rotary straw, alfalfa, sudan, short grass, tall grass, it eats it all. You can buy a NH baler cheaper and it will make a damn nice bale but it's made cheaply compared to a JD baler. I run a NH HW325 windrower that i like better than the deeres but when it comes to balers JD is the heaviest built and the EASIEST to work on and service.
