| We are waiting to use our 1990 ccs for the first time this year so now I am a little nervous about this issue. I do know first hand that buying an early riser will not fix this issue. We had our 1200 sit out in a rain storm with the hoppers 1/3 full, and then sit in the shed for a week. That was a huge mess trying to clean the rotten beans out of the bottom of the manifold. Luckily we still had a 1590 box drill so we were able to dump the beans in it and not worry about plugging the planter. I thought when we got rid of that thing, we wouldnt have to worry about getting a planter empty or to the shed before a rain. Guess I was wrong. | |
