There is a very limited area in all of Europe that can raise corn like this. The volume raised in Europe is not really a challenge to the US corn market. The area that may be a competitor in the not too distant future is the southern portion of Eastern Europe. However I think with the world population and standards of living and diet rising, along with corn grain based ethanol taking up any slack there will be enough market to go around. I see demand and prices will not go astronomically up or down as both US and world corn production capabilities and demand gradually increase. jmho. Jim at Dawn
