Hoisington, KS | Went to the county plot tour that had 30 varieties and just about every one had some stripe rust, but Hitch was by far the worst. The KSU guys said there is a new strain of stripe rust that no variety is resistant to this year. We have some 2137 that is showing signs of rust, but we're all headed out and in full bloom so it's too late to spray anyway. Post Rock, Tam 111, and Art looked fine last week. | |
