I have the same 1990 as you are asking about. Pulled it with 7820 MFWD and duals and it plays with it in no-till. In tilled ground it is a pretty good pull. Do have some hills here. I would think a proper weighted 7630 would pull it. You are thinking along the correct line as your weight will be the limiting factor.
