tennessee | I had some ruts from last fall and really thought/think I had a compaction problem on my farm, so I work the ground this spring to take care of both problems. After this, we have had the great flood of 2010(a 1,000 yr. flood by the way) so I had alot of erosion and had to replant some beans that got under water. Now today we get 2 inches in about 5 minutes and I've got ruts washed right back in my fields, but this time it's all planted so I guess there's not alot I can do about it now! Really pissed about the erosion--I'm no-till 95% of the time and I supposed I picked the wrong yr. to not be. Why don't we get any gentle rains anymore? It's all or nothing around here. Just venting a little........ | |
