PROSPECT, TENNESSEE | Has anyone used Callisto as a pre. and had it do any damage? I ran 5 oz a day or two after planting with roundup, got a slow 1/2 inch rain that night. Conditions were close to being perfect, corn was up in six to seven days. It looked great until the growing point came out of the ground, then it lost the dark green color and started looking like the lack of nitrogen. I even applied 150 additional pounds of N to the 150 pre plant pounds to see if that was the problem. Nothing is changing, the unaffected corn is 30+ inches and the rest is from 4" up. I have had two hard 2.5" rains since the corn emerged, and the temps have been a roller coaster ride, but still would say unseasonably warm. mid 90's today with heat index's near 100. | |
