Agree with Dave. We are stuck in a continental climate, you'll get your swings left to right and back again. Ash is also blowing over Europe and Asia, take a while to go around the globe with prevailing winds. I remember Pinatubo well, the helicopter spray service I worked for had half the work normal during the following summer. (1992) Made for a nice cool summer, but no serious bug growth.
