Central Iowa | We got a White 8824 CFS planter this year. Hooked it up to use our Insight for the monitor(which also runs our Trimble autosteer in the 8410). Really like the bar graph for quick scanning of the rows. Great for combining the different hybreds we plant, also.
Is anyone having trouble with getting seed into the air distributor boxes on the bottom of the bulk tanks? Is there an easy fix for this? We got done planting soybeans yesterday and looks like we will have a few days to work in the shop. I was thinking of using hose clamps and putting some screen or hardware ccloth over the ends of the air outlets on the distributor. Other suggestions would be welcome.
Other than that, we can't believe we never looked at White Planters before! So simple! | |
