Subject: STX quad 375 question - hydraulic pump

Rivers, MB
Looking at a '02 375 quad that is sitting at a JD dealer. they are telling me that it has the high flow hyd. pump. From verbal description from our Case service manager, the pump is a standard pump. Anyone have a picture from the top down of what a high flow pump looks like. Are the high flow pumps different on a wheeled or track machine? Anyone swapped pumps and put on a high flow hyd. pump? what's all involved and approx cost?

Case service manager told me that there is no way for them to enter the Serial number into Case's computer system and tell me what kind of pump the tractor had on it when shipped from the factory. I have trouble believing that. You can do that with any JD equipment. Surely Case can do the same.

this could be the deal maker or breaker so need to get this cleared up. The high flow pump should help us run two air seeder fans if we ever want to do that or should give us extra flow for running a hydraulically run grain cart.

thanks for help.
