| Keeping the planter level mainly has to do with the row unit, so that the openers closing wheels work together. I would think that it might have something to do with if it has chain drive meters I would make sure that the chains are well lubed and flexible, even on new planters that have sat for a while the chains could be seized up, causing it to jump on the sprocket. Also if it was only on the wings check the alignment of the driveshafts, we forgot to lock our wings on ours last year in a field and it bent the shafts with the eccentric. Just a few things that come to mind. | |
