We're looking at something that can easily pull a 24 row 30 inch planter. It needs to have at least 55 GPM of flow. Right now we're looking at JD 8530's, JD 9220's w/ the high flow kit on them, and STX 325's.
We currently pull a 16 row with our JD 4840. Our 4840 went down on us so we're renting an 8530 from a neighbor. It's spoiling us quite a bit, but I'm not sure that's the route we'll go in the end.
