The thing you will need to watch for is if the plants "buggy whip" if the stone hit in the whorral of the plant. If that happens the plant will never amount to anything & evenyually die, otherwise the corn will be fine. If you have a lot of "buggy whipped" plants I have seen guys clip the plants with a rotatry mowerjust below the point where it is buggy whipped and the corn came back & made good corn. Actually had a crop adjuster recomend that once. Hard to do a lot of damage to young corn. I have had corn hailed on severak times when it was young & always was hard to collect any hail loss.
