North Central Illinois | Northern LaSalle County about .30" so far. They are calling for more today and tomorrow. Its kind of scary how they keep talking about how it is almost a sure thing. That is when it usually doesn't amount to much. I would sure like an inch or so but this would get us by for a few days until something else comes along. We are really dry in the top three to four inches of soil. The corn is all planted. If we can get everything growing and get some good roots down there is a lot of moisture a little further down. We just got super dried out in the top few inches with all that warm, sunny, windy, low humidity weather starting about ten or twelve days ago. | |
