Driftless SW Wisconsin

Emory,

With my system of trying to get some corn finish on them ahead of replanting the strip tilled corn on corn I have to leave them on the grazing corn as long as possible. I had some real pugging this spring but the continuous corn ground seemed to be able to recover with my 4 or 5" deep strip till. I think the key is good soil structure from all the corn roots left.
