I would like to try that myself. I know the blades are 7.5" spaced. The back gang coulters go in between the front gang coulters. So you actually get a coulter every 3.75". I do not know about the angle. I would think it could be done though. My neighbor bought one and has been running it the past few weeks and has definitely impressed me.
