NE Indiana-Fort Wayne and NE China
One thing we have learned is that western soils respond very differently to identical biological products. In the humid regions with more highly weathered soils that receive regular applications of animal waste, we often see a different responds. I have worked extensively with two bio-stimulants. One is an enzyme product built from cell wall fractured (lysed) bacteria and fungi. It has performed very well in the Dakotas and high plains and SW. Also does great things in corn production with cattle manure in the humid regions. The other product is a fermentation of cheese whey. It has produced very profitable responses in corn and beans for over three years of thousands of acres of grower experience. It contains bacillis subtilis and galactose and FVA's, to mention a few that protect against fusarium gram. sp. (source of Vomitoxins) and helps chelate calcium for soybean uptake resulting in growing larger beans. Good bios will enhance colonization of mycorrhizal fungi and bacteria. Some soils need the mycorrhizal inoculum application of compatible genera in order to achieve a profitable response.
