| How are you able to tell that it is putting a real strain on the hydraulic system? I don't know a lot about that model of Case tractor but I was under the impression that they had a closed center hydraulic system. If that is the case, then there shouldn't be any problem with the oil dead-heading. I would post this question in the Machinery talk section. There are some people that understand Case tractors and how to make them cooperate in various circumstances hydraulically speaking like the back of their hand.
