I can verify this in central Illinois. Next comes the always tough decision - how deep do I dare go? The row cleaners can get the clods out of the way and then sometimes there is good moisture and sometimes not sounds all too familiar. So ,Jim, how deep do you go with little chance of rain in the forecast. i like two inches for many reasons, but how about 2 1/4 just to be a little safer with more drying to come.
