Works great for me in notill. I swing the drawbar over plus made myself a special attachment to move it a bit farther over. The way I have mine set-up the tractor wheels never drive on the planted row, the planter wheels do go over the row on the second pass. When you first start a field it can be a bit confussing as to where to drive so you can double back by making a simple half circle at the ends. As for damage,I do a lot more with the tractor mounted sprayer. My big time neighbor always complements on how good my beans look, but it is just not an economical way to do large acres.
