West KY, Miss River County | Dual, Lasso, prowel or something like that. Father-in-law insisted on using atrazine. When he was found out noone (cooks-wife and family ) would prepare or eat the asparagus, Since he wouldn't/couldn't cook he just grumped. finally we bought him some at the store.
For the treflan above, or the things I mentioned, you could probably water it in if you have a sprinkler in the garden.
